Terms of use

Last updated: 29 September 2026

In short: TapSum is a personal finance tool, not financial advice. Your data lives on your device, so keep backups. Premium is billed and managed by Apple or Google.

1. Who we are

TapSum (the "App") is provided by Gleb Safronov, a self-employed developer in Barcelona, Spain ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@tapsum.fyi. See the legal notice for full details.

2. Agreement

By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you download the App from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If you download it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. Where these Terms conflict with Apple's standard EULA for an App Store download, the EULA prevails.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the App, except where the law allows it.

4. Free features and Premium

You can use TapSum's core features for free. Premium is an optional upgrade that unlocks additional features. It is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the App before you buy, in your local currency, including taxes where applicable.

5. Subscriptions

6. Your data and backups

All data you enter is stored only on your device. We have no copy of it and cannot recover it if your device is lost, damaged or reset, or if you uninstall the App. You are responsible for making backups using the App's export and backup features.

7. Not financial advice

The App helps you record and review your own finances. Figures, charts, budgets and exchange rates are for information only and may contain errors. Nothing in the App is financial, tax, investment or legal advice.

8. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features of the App. We aim to keep paid features working for the period you paid for. If we materially reduce Premium features during a paid period, your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

9. Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data you did not back up. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence, death or personal injury, or your statutory rights as a consumer, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content under EU and Spanish law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in the courts of your country.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the date above and, for material changes, give notice in the App or on this page before they apply.
