In short: TapSum stores everything you enter on your own device. We don't collect, see or sell your financial data. There are no user accounts, no ads and no tracking, in the app or on this website.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Gleb Safronov, a self-employed developer (autónomo) based in Barcelona, Spain. Full details are in the legal notice. For anything about your data, write to hello@tapsum.fyi.
Data you enter in the app
Expenses, income, categories, accounts, balances, budgets, subscriptions and notes are saved in a local database on your device. This data is not transmitted to us or to any third party. We run no server that stores it and have no way to access it.
Backups, imports and exports
When you create a backup or an export, TapSum saves the file where you choose, for example your device storage or a cloud drive you use. Once a file leaves the app, it is handled by that storage provider under its own terms. Files you import are read on your device only.
Purchases
Premium subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive your name, email or payment details. The app checks on your device whether an active purchase exists, so it can unlock Premium. Apple's and Google's privacy policies apply to these transactions.
Analytics, advertising and tracking
TapSum contains no advertising, no advertising identifiers and no third-party tracking or analytics SDKs.
Store statistics
Apple and Google may give developers aggregated, anonymous statistics such as downloads, ratings and crash reports, depending on your device settings. We cannot use them to identify you.
This website
tapsum.fyi uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party embeds. Fonts and images are served from our own domain. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc., processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type for a short time to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Emails to us
If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to answer you, based on our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete the correspondence when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your rights
Your app data stays on your device, so you control it fully: you can edit, export or delete it at any time, and uninstalling the app removes it. Under the GDPR you can also ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or port any personal data we hold about you, and object to its processing. In practice this is only emails you sent us. You can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or the authority in your country.
California residents
We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not collect personal information through the app.
Children
TapSum is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change how TapSum handles data, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect. If a future feature needs to send any data off your device, it will be optional and clearly explained in the app before you turn it on.
